Car Reviews 2009 Toyota Vios
Toyota Vios The Toyota Vios is aptly named, with Vios derived from the Latin word “vio”, meaning “moving forward”. And this is just what Toyota has accomplished. The contemporary vehicle is a four-door, subcompact sleek Sedan. Similar to the Yaris from the same company, the Vios line gets better with every generation. The newer models have been compared to the Camry in its body design and glossy appearance. But don`t let looks deceiver you. From the exterior, one might think that the inside won`t leave much for elbow room. The exact opposite is true with ample space for everyone, limbs and all. Toyota merges simplicity, practicality, and style in the Vios, bringing it to the forefront of the car industry. The Vios was intended mostly for Asian markets, but in later years, has made a name for itself internationally. In comparison to earlier models, the car has taken on a youthful, energetic, and sporty appearance, while at the same time improving ergonomically. With an aerodynamic design, the inside of the Vios is spacious. Passengers enjoy this freedom with lots of legroom. Some have adjustable back seats to amplify the available space – also making it convenient to carry more cargo. The driver can utilize the lever-type height adjuster and electronically powered steering wheel for a comfortable short or long drive. The Multi Information Display (MID) helps drivers to analyze driving conditions — you never know when a slippery highway or unexpected snowfall might make driving dangerous. Electronic outside rear mirrors and integrated turn signal lamps offer both function and style. The newer Vios vehicles pump music through an impressive stereo sound system. Most have both MP3 and CD capabilities, and with six speakers to rock your favourite tunes, you can go from shopping to working to anywhere you want to go — without missing a beat. Safety is always in mind with the Toyota GOA safety body, which is designed to protect passengers by distributing the impact of a crash equally over the body of the car. Coupled with this, the Vios protects pedestrians as well with extra cushioning; lowering the chances of a pedestrian being hurt if hit. More safety comes with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). All in all, the Toyota Vios line has a fun, yet classy, look. From the outside it is elegant and snazzy. From the inside, it is a classic Toyota cruiser.
